I am the only child of my parents, residing with them in our own house in West Dhanmondi. Our family is fully Dhaka-centric, as both generations were born and raised here. My father is a retired businessman who owned a garments buying house, and my mother is a homemaker. My late paternal grandfather was a Deputy Director of the Bangladesh Water Development Board and a relative of A. K. Fazlul Huq (with ancestral roots in Barisal). My maternal grandfather was a Dhaka-settled industrialist with his own home in Dhaka, tracing his ancestral roots to Munshiganj.
