His father holds an M.Sc. degree and is a retired banker who served as Senior Vice President at Mutual Trust Bank. He is currently engaged in banking consultancy and the import business of derma-cosmetic products. His mother is a graduate of Joypurhat Mohila College and a homemaker. The family resides in their own apartment in Moghbazar, Dhaka, while their permanent address is Snigdha Housing Estate, Bogura Sadar.
