Her late father was in the government service while her mother is a homemaker. She is the second child of her parents. Her elder sister is a PhD-holder (from a reputed foreign university) who also works as a professor in a public university of Bangladesh. The candidate's elder sister's husband is a researcher and writer while her younger brother is also a post graduate who is trying to crack the BCS. The candidate is financially solvent, independent, empowered woman, bold, sensitive in nature, and she is expecting a person as a life partner who also sees the world the way she sees. She stays with her elder sister and her brother in law though she has her own place to live.
