I am looking for a practicing Muslim spouse who would be a garment, a close friend. An ideal match would be a well-mannered person whose heart is attached to the mosque and is used to reading Quran, performing five daily prayers, fasting in Ramadan, giving Zakat ,if applicable, regularly and is prepared to abide by Quran and sunnah in every sphere of life to the best of ability. To me marriage should be a companionship which helps an individual to learn and correct the humanly shortcomings in a respectful way and thereby paves the way for the hereafter.The perspective to view a person as person before gender is important when it comes to a respectful companionship and accommodating differences in opinions as long as it is permissible by the Islamic guidelines.I will be comfortable with an individual who has compromising personality, who is prone to honesty and sincerity. I believe we all make mistakes and spouses should help each other to overcome those and be a better person.
