Previously I was in a chemical shipping company in Hong Kong flag.I passed cadet life there.Then I got promotion with professional exam and now I am a junior officer in a swiss based European company. Alhamdulillah. Ocean-going ships carry cargo (rice, pulses, oil, fertilizer, gas, clothing, cars, medicine, chemicals, etc.) from one country's seaport to another country's port. We have to operate that ship.We need to stay out of country for at least six month in each contract.Promotion increases rank and salary at an international standard basis. Highest rank is the Captain.
